You Are Invited to the Safety Action Christmas Breakfast

Thursday 11 December
7.30am - 9.00am
Safety Action,
370 St Kilda Road Melbourne

Our breakfast sessions are an opportunity for our clients & friends to meet in a relaxed environment to discuss emerging safety and risk issues, and to share experiences.

Our Christmas Breakfast will include a briefing by Carolyn Preiss, a specialist in workplace fatigue.

Are You Fatigued?

Fatigue is now being recognised as an important and emerging OH&S issue.  People working long, extended or irregular hours are at particular risk of fatigue.  Common effects of fatigue include stressed employees, reduced productivity and performance and an increased risk of workplace accidents.

People who are fatigued are dangerous to themselves and their colleagues.  Raising fatigue awareness is the first stage in creating a safe and productive team.

Attend this briefing to learn; how the new legislation 'fatigue reform' may affect you, the impact that fatigue is having on Australian business and strategies to recognise & respond to fatigue.

Carolyn Preiss is an accredited fatigue trainer and lifestyle educator and will motivate you with the latest information on managing fatigue.  She will share practical solutions and provide an insight to managing work and non-work related fatigue.  You will achieve a greater awareness of how to reduce the risks and consequences associated with fatigue such as absenteeism, accidents and near misses.  As workplace morale is raised, productivity and perfomance will improve, ultimately increasing your organisations bottom line.
