Once again we have conducted our annual safety benchmarking survey- thank you to all those who participated.

This year, 50 organisations representing nearly 100,000 employees provided data that allowed us to prepare the best possible benchmarks for safety performance.

Glossary:
MTI’s – Medical treatment injuries e.g. treatment by qualified medical practitioner (beyond first aider)
LTI’s – Lost time injury e.g. work injury resulting in inability to work for one shift (8 hours) or more
First Aid Injury – Work injuries which require self treatment using a first aid kit or assistance by first aider
No. Employees – Number of employees, including regular casuals or contract labour
EFT – Effective full time number of employees
Days Lost – Work days not attended by a worker due to a work injury
