Unfair Dismissal: Employer Did Not Follow Bullying Code

A female supervisor accused of bullying workers is to receive compensation after the WA Industrial Relations Court found the employer had unfairly dismissed the supervisor, as it had failed to follow the Code of Practice: Violence, Aggression and Bullying at Work.

This is another clear warning for all organisations that “due process” is vital for all sensitive allegations such as bullying, and employers must follow recognised codes of practice.
