CHARGES: The Supervisor and Managing Director of Proud Engineering Pty Ltd have been charged under Section 32 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act with reckless endangerment (possibly leading to a prison sentence) following an investigation into a fatal accident involving Mr Ivor Watt (employee).
Proud Engineering Pty Ltd have also been charged under Section 32 and the Manager of Operations has been charged for primary duties breach of failing to provide an appropriate system, training and supervision.

This year's case uses a factual scenario that could occur in any workplace (manufacturing, construction, professional services etc.). The proceedings will be acted out by Macpherson Kelley lawyers, specialist barristers and some of Australia’s leading safety consultants and managers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in various roles such as supporting the judge, the prosecution and defence team, or sitting on the jury.
